A well known high point on any visit to Panama is also the “highest” point in the entire country. The Volcano Baru National Park is located in the Province of Chiriqui close to Boquete. The area features many hiking trails and guided tour adventures. You can 4X to the top of the volcano in about 45 minutes, or you can walk it in about 4 hours. In either instance, your journey will be filled with the brilliant colors and abundant wildlife that have made this area famous.
