Tubing and Rafting Are Ideal Family Adventure

logo

Picture your family drifting along on the currents of an ancient river as it carves its way through a primordial rainforest. Now picture the look on your children’s faces as they shout the praises of the awesome Mom and Dad that made a day like this possible!
The Panama Highlands Tubing and Rafting Are Ideal Family Adventure
Panama is a family vacation paradise filled with diverse adventures that are both fun and educational. A day spent bobbing in an inner tube or paddling a raft yields great memories and a new found reverence and respect for the fragile beauty of our natural world.

Despite its diminutive size, Panama is home to hundreds of rivers. In a land area just slightly larger than the state of Florida you can float lazily down slow moving streams or battle the challenges of Class V whitewater.

If your plans will keep you closer to Panama City, ask your tour planner about a day on the Chagras River in the Chagras National Park. You’ll find several outfitters on or near the Chagras ready to help with your gear and instruction. You can choose from relaxed swift water runs or whitewater action ranging upward to Class III rapids.

The premier water sports river in Panama is the mighty Chiriqui in the region from which it takes its name. These wild waters are legendary among whitewater aficionados. You can choose from relaxed tubing floats to white knuckle missile rides down Class V rapids. To put some perspective on this… Class VI rapids are considered un-navigable.

When planning your family adventure in Panama, it is always a good idea to have a chat with a local travel professional. Why come this far without making the best of your time and treasure?
